Dota 2 The International 2015 tickets go on sale next week | VG247

Tickets to The International 2015 will be sold in two batches come March 7, Valve announced on the Dota 2 blog.

All tickets will be general admission and run $99 a piece. The ticket provided access to all six days of the event.

The tickets will be sold through Ticketmaster at two separate times come March 27 with the first batch going on sale at 10am PDT/1pm EDT and the second batch will go on sale at 10pm PDT/1am EDT.

A list of ticket sale times outside the US are listed below. If you do not see your region time listed, head through here for the timezone converter.

Seattle: March 27 – 10:00 and 22:00

Rio de Janeiro: March 27 – 14:00 and March 28th at 02:00

London: March 27 – 17:00 and March 28th at 05:00

Moscow: March 27 – 20:00 and March 28th at 08:00

Beijing: March 28 –  01:00 and 13:00

Seoul: March 28 –  02:00 and 14:00

Singapore: March 28 – 01:00 and 13:00

Sydney: March 28 – 04:00 and 16:00

Valve said it will not sell VIP tickets directly for The International 2015, but to “stay tuned for details” on the VIP experience.

Dota 2 The International takes place August 3-8 and team invitations will will be sent just after May 1.

The International 2014 drew over 20 million spectators via livestreams with concurrent viewers peaking at over 2 million.

Phase one for Xbox One April system update now available for preview

The first April system update for Xbox One Preview program members is rolling out, with phase one landing overnight.

The first wave of content includes the following, per Major Nelson:

Party chat improvements – Party chat is being improved with troubleshooting guidance for Xbox One owners. The Party App will help you get your microphone enabled and show you when privacy settings or networking issues are blocking communication with particular party members.

Game hub links – Members can more easily discover game hub content from activity feed items. You’ll see activity feed items when any of your friends follow a game, and you’ll also be able to get back to a game’s hub from activity feed posts related to the game – including feed items about the game’s achievements, game clips and screenshots. Finally, we’ve added a link to game hubs from the game’s page in the achievements app.

Achievement notifications – With this preview release, you’ll also see the achievement’s description in the notification so you know what you did to earn this achievement without having to open the achievements app. If you do choose to open up the notification to see the achievement details, we’ve also made some performance improvements to make loading the achievements app from a notification faster.

The second content wave will arrive next week, and more information on what Xbox One Preview program members can expect will be announced closer to release.

Nintendo was nice enough to send us a copy of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U early and we’ve been busy beating each other to a pulp. Leading up to the launch we’ll be playing tons of Smash and making videos. Which modes or characters do you want to see in glorious HD. In Canada I found this promotion available at Future Shop, Best Buy and the Microsoft Store. Honestly though I’d rather get the special edition Destiny Bundle that includes a white PS4. However if you didn’t already have an Xbox one and were thinking of getting one, this week would probably be the right time to pick one up.
