In a move out of left field, Accolade the long dormant development studio, has announced that they are bringing back Bubsy. Called Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back, it is an all new platforming game.
The last Bubsy game, Bubsy 3d, was released in 1996, and the development studio Accolade was closed down in 2000. So this should make for an interesting ride.
Bubsy: The Woolies Strikes back is being developed for PS4 and PC by Black Forest Games, the studio behind the most recent revival of the Giana Sisters games.

Well today Gearbox and publisher 2K announced that Battleborn is getting a free trial, giving the people Battleborn’s multiplayer for free. They claim that you can play all of the multiplayer without any limits or level caps.
In this new free version, they are releasing a rotating group of 6 heroes out of the possible 30 they offer, as well as gameplay modes and maps. When you play each character, that progress will be saved, even if that character is no longer playable, so that the next time they are, that will all be there still.
Luckily, they are also grouping new players together, so all the n00bs don’t get slaughtered by the veteran players. Once you reach rank 20, then you will move out of the Novice Queue and can play with everyone else
The free trial goes into affect starting today, worldwide for Xbox One and PC, and North America only for PS4, but will become available in Europe and Japan for those PS4 users starting June 13.

Announced earlier today from Iron Galaxy and Maximum Games, Extinction is a fast-paced, action game coming out early 2018 for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
As you can see in this first Cinematic trailer above, the player will be fighting massive 150-foot-tall ogres along with armies of other smaller creatures. Apparently, as shown in the trailer above, being able to dismember and disarm your opponent is not just a cool cinematic touch, but will actually be something that characters will need to do in order to weaken and finally defeat enemies.
They are touting a whole list of features, a few of which are as follow:
Deep Story Campaign. Protect the human population across an abundant story campaign, rescuing as many civilians as possible and taking down brutal opponents.
Dynamic Side Missions. Complete numerous side missions with various objectives, earning upgrades to aid you in your campaign.
Skill-Based Combat. Travel horizontally and vertically, perform wall runs, and use your whip as a vault to perform devastating air assaults. Master dynamic combat maneuvers to effectively traverse the giant beasts and expose their weak points, progressing along different skill trees to develop a path best suited to your playstyle.
Interactive Environment. Move freely around a fully destructible environment, and use objects throughout the world to your strategic advantage.
Innumerable Battle Scenarios. Every battlefield is different from the last, ensuring a unique combat situation each time you play.
Custom Battles. Create custom battlegrounds with varied objectives, and challenge players online to compete for the top score.
Extinction Mode. Fight off a continuous horde of assailants as wave after wave of ogres and their minions attack without relent.
Extinction sounds like it has the potential to be something special and we can’t wait to see them release more info at E3 in a couple weeks. Stay tuned for more info as we receive it.
Extinction will be coming early 2018 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Get ready to roll out the red carpet for the latest DLC pack coming to Titanfall 2: Monarch’s Reign. This DLC features the addition of the 7th multiplayer Titan: Monarch, the IMC’s attempt to reverse-engineer the Militia’s Vanguard-class Titan with a decided focus on flexibility through survival and support options. The Monarch is unlike any other Titan and features a unique Upgrade Core, which allows her to improve her combat abilities during a battle based on options set by her Pilot. Monarch also has an impressive ability to draw power from enemy Titans to recharge her own shields, or the shields of her friendly Titans.
The Monarch’s Reign DLC pack also brings new cosmetic items for purchase, including the debut of Ronin Prime and Tone Prime. Ronin Prime charges the field with a samurai-inspired aesthetic including a visual-upgrade for his sword so he may more stylishly pierce the heavens (and enemy Titans). As the cherry blossoms fall across the battlefield, don’t forget to check out the Monarch’s Reign Camo Pack, inspired by World War 2 “dazzle camouflage” with broad patterns and striking colors to keep your opponent guessing. New Art Packs are now available for each Titan, as well as a new Callsign Pack.
Monarch’s Reign also brings the return of Relic; a classic map from Titanfall set among the old wreck of the IMC carrier IMS Odyssey. This remastered map features a worksite where Pilots have created clever wall running routes by hanging pieces of the wreckage between buildings.
