Disney recently sent out beta invites for its Free to Play space combat game Star Wars: Attack Squadrons. Star Wars: Attack Squadrons is a free-to-play online space combat game where players customize iconic Star Wars ships and engage in high-velocity 16 player dogfights in fabled Star Wars locations. Check your email carefully as my invite was in my spam folder, the closed beta lasts from now until January 28.

Today marks the day that CD Projekt RED unveils their first gameplay trailer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. This game is on many people’s radar, and rightly so as it looks fantastic; if The Witcher 2 is anything to go off of, they will continue to push the bounds of the RPG Genre in not only size and scope, but also in sheer graphics fidelity. Take a look below at the trailer, and try not to druel all over your keyboard.

Time to hide your wallets children, its another steam sale and just in time for Black Friday. Starting today thru Monday Future Shop and Best Buy Canada have an insane trade in deal that will unlikely ever be beat. Trade in any and I mean ANY PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 or Wii U game for your choice of Call of Duty: Ghosts, Assassin’s Creed IV and Battlefield 4 for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U or PC. I can confirm that this is the real deal as you can see I definitely took advantage of this wicked deal. There is a limit of 1 game of your choice per trade but if you’re lucky like me you can make friends in line ask them to trade for you. (Thanks Jareth’s girlfriend and random dude behind me!) I was in line for about 2 and a half hours and there was still easily 400-500 people waiting in line. An added bonus is that these games are eligible for the Next Gen Upgrade deal where you can get these titles now and upgrade to Next Gen for only $10. Your milage may vary on this deal as reports are that some stores have already run out of stock. Thanks to my buddy Dustin who told me about this amazing deal.

So Nvidia posted the system requirements for Call of Duty: Ghosts on its website this morning. I think there will be some people out there in some serious need of upgrades when they read this, as going next gen is more then a little harder on the hardware then the old games where. From the mind of Shinji Mikami, the man who brought us Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2, comes an all new Survival Horror game called The Evil Within. Currently in Development for the PS3, PS4, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 in 2014, this is looking like Shinji Mikami going back to his roots from Resident Evil and really building on that foundation, in some ways a going back to the roots if you will, and yet, SO, SO different. Hey everyone, I have a couple codes sitting here that I need to get rid of and I figured what better way than to have a little contest. The first game is a download for Gears of War on Xbox 360, I know it isn’t exactly new but the price is right.
