Update 1.6 for the PlayStation 4 was just released with a much anticipated compatibility fix for Sony’s wireless headsets. Up until now Sony’s flagship wireless headsets weren’t compatible with the PlayStation 4. For more information on this update go to Sony’s site below.

Murdered: Soul Suspect publisher Square Enix have confirmed today that it will be coming to both the Xbox One and the PS4. Originally when it was announced, it was coming for Xbox 30, PC, and PS3, but now we know that it is officially coming to the two new consoles alongside the current ones, sometime in June 2014.
Square Enix stated in a statement that “The new console versions will offer increased visual fidelity via native 1080p output. Elements such as subsurface scattering and an increased particle count will depict an even more immersive ghost world and cast as players guide slain Salem detective Ronan O’Connor on a quest to find his killer and escape the limbo-like world of Dusk.”
Along with these announcements they also sent this new gameplay/story trailer showing off a little bit more of just what exactly Murdered: Soul Suspect is exactly, even though many people in the gaming press are already calling it “LA Noire with Ghosts” which if it actually is that….. I think that would be pretty damn sweet.
Murdered: Soul Suspect is slated for release sometime in June 2014.

So this very cool video landed today, showcasing the upcoming Thief game by Eidos Montreal. In this video we get a taste for the new game, it is 6 minutes of show off really, all the ways you can play and just hinting a little bit about what this game may be about. This game has had an interesting run leading up to release and I will be very curious to see how it turns out. If this video is anything to go by though, this is looking like a VERY good game. I keep getting a very big Dishonored vibe from this new Thief; which on one hand makes me excited (Dishonored is amazing, if you haven’t played it, GO NOW and do so) but on the other hand make me also slightly concerned, as I want this new Thief game to be its own game, not a copy of something that I have already played. Take a look below at this new trailer and feel free to share with us what your thoughts on this new Thief game are.
Thief is being released on Feb 25, 2014 for the Xbox 360, PC, PS4, Xbox One and PS3.

Today we get this little nugget of animated goodness, a Sly Cooper teaser trailer for the upcoming animated film. Being created by Blockade Entertainment and Rainmaker Entertainment, this CG animated film will be coming sometime in 2016. Take a gander at the trailer below, and here is hoping they don’t wreck it.
Well there we have it, the first glimpse of a Sly Cooper CG film. I think it is too early to tell yet how this will go, but from what I have seen here, might be a fun ride.

Battlefield 4 is an amazing game when its working, unfortunately multiplayer has been severely broken for a majority of its players. Battlefield 4 has had its fair share of hiccups since its launch in October and with no end in sight. However EA and Dice seem to be getting their priorities straight and are working on major fixes and damage control. As a thank you for players patience the developer announced today on their blog that February will be Battlefield 4 Player Appreciation Month. Dice will be running everything from double XP weekends, FREE equipment unlocks and FREE battlepacks everyday you log in during the month long event. To the Surprise of no one, today Via Twitter, Vince Zampella from Respawn Entertainment has said that there will be a beta for Titanfall on the Xbox One and PC, no details were given at this time, but he has said more will be incoming soon.

This new gameplay video for Nintendo’s new 3DS Yoshi dropped over the weekend, and I am just getting around to hanging it up for you fine folks. I was a huge fan of the original for the Super Nes, and I have high hopes for this new one, luckily so far they look like they are nailing it! So take a look at the new gameplay video below and fingers crossed this turns out well.
Yoshi’s New Island will be out on March 14, 2014 for the Nintendo 2DS and 3DS.
