DC Comics Deck-building Game Out Now

dcdeckbuildinggame

After months of waiting, fans can pick up the highly-anticipated DC Comics Deck-building Game in their local game stores today. From San Diego Comic-Con to PAX Prime, gaming fans flocked to Cryptozoic, the premier developer of original and licensed games including The Walking Dead Board Game and Locke & Key: The Game, to try out this hugely popular game. Cryptozoic developed the DC Comics Deck-building Game under a licensing agreement with Warner Bros. Consumer Products in partnership with DC Entertainment.

Boasting art straight from the hit comics, the DC Comics Deck-building Game offers exciting and engaging gameplay for both comics and gaming fans, allowing them to play as the marquee characters they know and love. DC Comics Super Heroes and Villains featured in the game include Superman, Batman, The Joker, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Darkseid, Lex Luthor and many more. The amazing card mechanics give new depth to fan-favorite characters, allowing them new equipment and super powers. Plus, hundreds of potential card combinations and deep deck-building strategy keep the game fresh and exciting for each and every play session.

Cryptozoic’s DC Comics Deck-building Game is easy to learn and quick to play, offering incredible fun for two to five players. Each player chooses a Super Hero and builds a deck around that Super Hero and his or her special powers. The cards available to add to each player’s deck are ever-changing, so each game offers compelling decisions and on-the-fly planning. At the end of the game, the player with the most victory points— based on the cards that player has acquired during the game— is the winner!

Designed for two to five players (ages 15 and up), the DC Comics Deck-building Game is now available at hobby stores for an MSRP of $40.00.
